TRUNK OR TREAT REPORT
At a come and go event like Trunk or Treat, it’s hard to get an exact count, but based on those that did register, those that voted and the amount of food we served, a good estimate is between 350-400. Thank you to Beth Henegar and her team for organizing a great event. Thank you to everyone that provided a car, ran a game, cooked, served food, brought candy and interacted with our guests. With everyone’s help, we had a great event.
TIME CHANGE
Nov 2 @ 2a
Don’t forget to set your clocks (for those that don’t automatically set themselves) back one hour before you go to bed on Saturday night. Enjoy the extra hour of sleep!
SUNDAY WORSHIP
Nov 2 @ 10a
Sunday, we begin a new worship series called All that Glitters. We all worship something. Our culture is full of false gods that we too often give our time, attention, energy, and affection to. Each glittery god gives us the illusion of satisfaction but, in the end, can never truly deliver. Jesus knew that one of the greatest distractions to living a life fully dedicated to God is money. Money is not the problem; the love of money is the problem. When we become so dedicated to the glitter of expensive possessions and big bank accounts, we find ourselves missing out on what really matters most. When we let go of our stuff, our stuff lets go of us.
WORSHIP @ THE RUTHERFORD
