SUNDAY WORSHIP

This Sunday we continue the Advent season as we look at the Gifts of Christmas. You see peace symbols on cars. You see people flash the peace sign. It would seem that our world is preoccupied with peace. But the peace the world is looking for is an absence of conflict. And although world peace is something we would like to see happen, what we need even more is an inward peace that only comes with a right relationship with God. It is through the birth of Jesus that we are offered the Gift of Peace.
LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING
During the month of December
During this time of the year, we focus our attention on our International Missionaries. Each Sunday in the month of December, we will have a video focusing on some of our missionaries. We will also collect a love offering for our International Missionaries. Prayerfully consider how much God will have to give.
MERRY MAIL
During the month of December
Drop off your Christmas cards (with postage) in the Merry Mail box. And then check the table for any cards you have received. Please only drop off cards for people that are currently attending our church.
LIGHTING OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE ON THE SQUARE

This event is conducted by the City of Murfreesboro with lots of activities, vendors and food trucks. We have been invited to provide a Nativity Scene to remind people the true purpose of celebrating Christmas. While we are there, we will hand out business cards inviting people to Bethlehem Marketplace. Come and help hand out some cards.

We need your help in packing up BMP. If we have a good group (like we have in construction), we will be finished around 9p. Please bring wheelbarrows, shovels and shop brooms. Work gloves and close-toed shoes are highly recommended.
JOY CLUB

They are starting at the church for lunch in the Fellowship Hall and then going to The Rutherford Assisted Living to sing Christmas Carols to the residents. Sign up at the Welcome Center and see Teresa Franklin on what foods to bring.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH

This will be a catered meal by Cindi Posey (donations accepted). It is a time for fellowship and we will end with a short program.
CBA Golden Gang Luncheon (Lascassas BC)

Join with other Senior Adults from across the county for a time of fellowship and food. If you would like to carpool, meet in the office parking lot at 10:30.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

This is a great time of worship as we complete the Advent season. We will sing traditional Christmas Carols, worship through the Avent Candles and partake in The Lord’s Supper. All are welcome to attend.
