SUNDAY WORSHIP
May 3 @ 10:00a
Maintaining the Ministry (Acts 6:1-7)
This week we are going to take a break from our studies from the Gospel According to Luke and focus on another letter written by Luke: Acts. As the early church developed, Luke recorded an issue that arose among the believers. It was an issue so big that it threated the life of the church. The Apostles handled the situation in a wise way. Instead of fixing the problem themselves, they turned it over to some men in the church which allowed them to grow in their faith while allowing the Apostles to continue the work that God had for them.

MAY MISSION PROJECT
During the month of May
We will be collecting baby wipes to take to Portico. Please leave your donations in the containers in the foyer.

DEACON NOMINATIONS
Any Sunday in the month of May. Please take a form, which are available in the foyer, read the qualifications on the back, prayerfully consider the men that you feel God is leading you to nominate, complete the form and place it either in the offering plate on in the box on the wall by the coffee area in the foyer.

QUARTERLY BUSINESS MEETING DATE CHANGE
The Quarterly Business Meeting is being moved from May 31 to May 24 following the worship service. May 31 will be our prayer worship and The Lord’s Supper. I do not want to follow that service with a business meeting.
