SUNDAY WORSHIP
May 17 @ 10:00a
The Authority of Jesus (Luke 4:31-37)
Jesus had been rejected in His hometown because they were too familiar with Him and couldn’t see Him as Savior. But that was not the case in a neighboring community. There He was accepted and welcomed. The result was that Jesus did many miracles. His authority came from His preaching of the Word of God. It is through God’s Word that we have power to make a difference in this world.
Graduate Celebration
May 17
We will recognize our graduates this Sunday in the worship service.
Go-N-Sow
May 17 @ 1:30p
We are going into neighborhoods around Southeast with the Gospel of John and church info. You can be involved in one of three ways. 1) Front Person. Some of us have the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and we need you to be the person carry the conversation. 2) Record keeper. Some people don’t want to carry the conversation but are happy to take notes on how the conversation went so we know how to follow up. 3) Prayer/driver. The third person on the team drives the vehicle and prays when the other two are having conversations. Talk to Gary Young or me if you’d like to join a team.
