The First Disciples
Have you ever been around a fishman? Sometimes their stories (and the fish) grow bigger and bigger. Well, this Sunday, we’re going to see the story of the first disciples and if Jesus hadn’t been involved, it would sound like a fish story out of control. But in the end, the story is less about the fish and more about four guys that abandon everything to fish for people for life.

This is an opportunity to brighten the day of the residents at The Rutherford Assisted Living. You can sing a song, lead a devotion, lead a craft, serve a snack, sit and talk, and more. See Gary Young to volunteer or to get more details.

Calling all senior adults (whether you feel like it or not), it’s time to celebrate dads. This month they are going to Legends in Smyrna (1918 Almaville Rd). Please sign up at the Welcome Center and see Teresa Franklin if you would like to carpool.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
June 14-18, 6:30-8:30p
There’s a place for 4-year-olds through those that have just completed the 5th grade. And, we have class for adults too. If you haven’t registered, click this link.
CBA GOLDEN GANG LUNCHEON

This month we are hosting the event here at Southeast. We’ll start off in the sanctuary with a time of singing and a guest speaker. Then we go to the gym for a delicious lunch prepared by Cindi Posey. But we need your help setting up the gym on Sunday night after VBS and resetting for VBS Monday after lunch. If you can help with either of these, please see Gary Young. We also need desserts. If you can provide a dessert (or more), please sign up at the Welcome Center.

- Workday: June 13, 10a-3p. Come and help decorate the church for VBS. Help for as long as you can. We’re providing pizza for lunch.
- Kickoff: June 14, 5:30-6:15p. It’s a time for games and dinner before the big night starts.
