SUNDAY WORSHIP

Jesus Heals (Luke 5:12-16)
This story may seem like it’s just a story about a sick man getting healed, it is so much more. It teaches us that God does not come to the self-sufficient, those who think they have no need or imagine they can make it on their own. He comes to the empty in spirit, those who mourn their condition. If you would come to Christ, this is the way you must come—saying, “Unclean!” Christ’s healing touch doesn’t come in response to a casual, irreverent acknowledgment. It comes as we bow before Him in the realization that He is our only hope.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
June 14-18, 6:30-8:30p
There’s a place for 4-year-olds through those that have just completed the 5th grade. And, we have class for adults too. If you haven’t registered, follow this link.
CBA GOLDEN GANG LUNCHEON
June 15 @ 11a
This month we are hosting the event here at Southeast. We’ll start off in the sanctuary with a time of singing and a guest speaker. Then we go to the gym for a delicious lunch prepared by Cindi Posey. But we need your help setting up the gym on Sunday night after VBS and resetting for VBS Monday after lunch. If you can help with either of these, please see Gary Young. We also need desserts. If you can provide a dessert (or more), please sign up at the Welcome Center.

- Workday: June 13, 10a-3p. Come and help decorate the church for VBS. Help for as long as you can. We’re providing pizza for lunch.
- Kickoff: June 14, 5:30-6:15p. It’s a time for games and dinner before the big night starts.
