SUNDAY WORSHIP
July 11 @ 10:00a
This week you will have a special guest speaker while I am in Virginia on the mission trip. Cole Rogers is the Director of the Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM). He has been serving in this position for just over a year now. Pray for him, his wife Evann and two girls as they share the Good News of Jesus with the students at MTSU. He will be preaching from Romans 12:1-21 this Sunday if you want to read ahead.

UPPERVILLE MISSION TRIP
July 11-17
Our mission team will be leaving about 7a this Saturday. Pray for safety as we travel and that we will be able to make a God-sized impact on the church and community. Here’s a list of our team: Olivia Bryant, Patton Bryant, William Bryant, Noah Lance, Jerry Posey, Elizabeth Sawmha, Lauren Sawmha, Joe Vinson, Lori Vinson, Molli Kate Vinson, Logan Williams and Nalani Zapata.

BETHLEHEM IN JULY
Last year was rough on our Marketplace set and we need to replace several things like a tent, flooring and transitions. We are going to need about $1,300 extra this year. So, we are going to take up a special offering on the last Sunday of July. Of course, if you want to donate before that, you can, just mark your envelope with BMP.

BCM OPPORTUNITIES
We have several opportunities to support the ministry at the MTSU BCM. You don’t have to participate in everything, but volunteer for the things you feel led. I know this is a lot, so talk to me if you have questions.
  • Work Project: We are going to help take out some old carpet and replace it with carpet squares. We will get started on Friday, August 14 at 9a and work until about 4p. Lunch will be provided. We’ll start back on Saturday, August 15 at 9a and go until we are finished. Again, lunch will be provided. Bring knives to cut the carpet into manageable pieces and work gloves. Bring shop vacs help with cleanup. And if anyone would like to provide lunch, please let me know. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.
  • Pancake Dinner (Friday, August 21): This is phase one of Welcome Week. They will feed about 300 students. You can volunteer for several places of service from set up to making batter to cooking to serving to trash pickup to clean up. See the sign-up list at the Welcome Center for positions and to sign up.
  • Worship Night and Church Fair (Saturday, August 22): I am going to set up a table and hand out information about the church hopefully along with some goodies. If you can help and if you can provide some goodies (and I’m talking about cookies in a little bag), please talk to me.
  • Worship and Cookout (Thursday, August 27): They will be having a worship service with a hamburger/hotdog dinner to follow. Again, a lot of ways to serves. Please see the sign-up list at the Welcome Center for areas of service and to sign up.
