Praying Ask
This Sunday is a fifth Sunday, so we are going to pause our study through the Gospel According to Luke and spend some focused time on prayer. This Sunday, we come to the point of which many of us spend most or all our time in prayer: Asking. We’re always asking God for something: to heal someone that is sick, to provide the money that we need, to protect us as we travel. And there is nothing wrong to pray for those things. But there are more levels to Asking in prayer than just presenting God with a list.
BENEVOLENCE OFFERING

This Sunday we will collect money for our church’s benevolence offering at the conclusion of the worship service. Prayerfully consider how much God would have you give to this ministry.
CLASS 200—DEVELOPING H.A.B.I.T.S.

This class helps you take your walk with Jesus to the next level. It is for everyone as we are always working to become more like Christ. The class will last for about two hours and is limited in size, so please sign up online.
PRAISE & HYMN SING

Come and enjoy singing by Chord of Three, Reunion and others from several local churches with a dessert fellowship will follow. Price of admission is at least one box of POPtarts (more are greatly appreciated) for the MTSU Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Click here for a flyer you can send out to your family and friends.
DAYCARE MUM SALE
The Daycare has partnered with Evans Plant Farm for a fall fundraiser. Through the Daycare, Evan’s is offering twelve (12) inch plants for $20 each. You have the option of picking up random assorted colored mums at church or a certificate to redeem at Evan’s Plant Farm if you want to select specific colors. See Ms. Debbie in the foyer to order. Payment is due at the time of the order and can be cash or check made out to SEBP. Deadline for orders is September 10.

The month of September
We are collecting POPtarts for the MTSU BCM. They use them as a way to engage other students with the Gospel. Place your POPtarts in the containers in the foyer.
