SUNDAY WORSHIP
Sep 20, 10a
This Sunday we will have a guest speaker, Phil Haper, from the Gideons International. The Gideons are Christian business and professional men called to win others for Jesus as they strengthen one another, spread the Gospel, and share God’s Word in unique areas and we at Southeast are happy to partner with them and their ministry. You’ve probably seen some of their handiwork. They place full-sized Bibles in hospitals, doctor’s offices and hotels. Where they are allowed, they hand out New Testaments in schools and on college campuses. They have military Bibles and recycle old hotel Bibles for prison ministries. And, they have partnered with us for the past four years in giving out over 16,000 New Testaments at the conclusion of Bethlehem Marketplace.

We will collect an offering at the conclusion of the service this Sunday morning. Make checks out to Gideons International. Prayerfully consider how much God wants you to give to this ministry. A $5 donation will purchase one (1) full-sized Bible or three (3) New Testaments. Let’s equip the Gideons to take God’s Word into the world and prayerfully claim God’s promise that the “word that comes from my mouth will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I please and will prosper in what I send it to do.” (Isaiah 55:11, CSB)

DEACON ORDINATION SERVICE
Sep 20, 4p
The church has elected David Figeuroa to become a Deacon. So, we get the privilege to conduct an ordination service for him. I encourage you to attend this special worship service and show your support to David and his family. There will be a reception afterwards.

CHRIST, COFFEE & CONVERSATIONS
Sep 23, 10:30a
Calling all ladies. Cindi Posey is working to organize a Women’s Ministry for our church. This is the first meeting, and it will be held in the Fellowship Hall. After a short devotional you will have time to discuss and plan possible projects and outreach that the women in our church can do.

CLASS 300—GETTING IN S.H.A.P.E.
Sep 27, 1p
This class is designed to help you find your place of service in God’s Kingdom at Southeast. The class will last for about two hours and is limited in size, so please sign up at the Welcome Center or online.

MTSU BCM POPTART COLLECTION
The month of September
We are collecting POPtarts for the MTSU BCM. They use them as a way to engage other students with the Gospel. Place your POPtarts in the containers in the foyer.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
It won’t be long until I am asking you to take a shoebox and fill it up. But right now, we need empty shoeboxes. Please bring your empty shoeboxes and drop them off in the foyer with the POPtarts and we’ll store them until needed.

ONLINE DIRECTORY
Did you know the church has an online directory? It’s a great way to find out info about other members that you might want to get in touch with and for others to get in touch with you. You can update your information and upload a picture of yourself. But here’s the issue, only you can determine what information will be displayed to others. So, if you haven’t (or if you haven’t in a while) logged it and make sure your information is correct and select what others can view about you.
