SUNDAY WORSHIP
Oct 4, 10a
Jesus Raises a Widow’s Son (Luke 7:11-17)
At the gate of Nain, Jesus encountered a grieving widow whose only son had died. Moved by deep compassion, Jesus stopped the funeral procession and simply commanded the young man, “Get up!” The young man immediately returned to life, revealing not only Jesus’ compassion but His extraordinary power over death. The people recognized that God had visited His people, but Jesus was far more than a great prophet. This remarkable event reminds us that Jesus understands our deepest hurts, has the wisdom to do what is best, and possesses the power to bring life where there seems to be none.
NO WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACTIVITIES
Wednesday, Oct 7
It’s fall break. Enjoy the week with your family.

This is a great time to invite the community to our church property for a fun time of games and candy. You can be involved in one, two or three ways.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
It won’t be long until I am asking you to take a shoebox and fill it up. But right now, we need empty shoeboxes. Please bring your empty shoeboxes and drop them off in the foyer with the ToT candy.
UPCOMING EVENTS
I’ll be wrapping up my trip to Utah and flying home on Saturday -- hopefully with some great pictures and stories. I look forward to seeing and worshiping with you on Sunday. Love God – Love People! – pastor joe
