FALL KIDSFEST @ THE AVENUE

We will be having our annual joint worship with our Hispanic Ministry. And then we will have lunch together. The Hispanic Ministry will provide the meats; you bring sides and desserts to share.
CBA Annual Meeting

This is the annual meeting for our association and will be held at Northside BC. There will be worship and reports and is open to any church member.
CBA Golden Gang Luncheon

Enjoy a time of food and fellowship with senior adults from all over the county. This month’s meeting will be held at Walter Hill BC. If you would like to carpool, meet in the office parking lot at 10:30.

Notice that this is a Tuesday morning. We are going into neighborhoods around Southeast with the Gospel of John and church info. You can be involved in one of three ways. 1) Front Person. Some of us have the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone and we need you to be the person carry the conversation. 2) Record keeper. Some people don’t want to carry the conversation but are happy to take notes on how the conversation went so we know how to follow up. 3) Prayer/driver. The third person on the team drives the vehicle and prays when the other two are having conversations. Talk to Gary Young or me if you’d like to join a team.

This is a great time to invite the community to our church property for a fun time of games and candy. You can be involved in one, two or three ways.
DAYCARE FUNDRAISER
The daycare will be selling 6.5" Poinsettias and 4" Christmas Cactus for $15 each. Sale will begin Sunday, October 11 and will end Sunday, November 1.

- We need lots of CANDY. Drop off your donations in the foyer.
- We need your CAR. Decorate your car and be available to hand out candy to our guests. Please sign put at the Welcome Center.
- We need you to have a CONVERSATIONS with our guest. Get to know them and invite them to visit us in worship on the next Sunday morning.
