VBS SETUP
May 31, 10a-until
Starting at 10am and going until we’re done (we’ll have a pizza lunch), we need volunteers for three things…

1. Set-up: Classrooms, Sanctuary, Foyer, Music, Crafts, Snacks, etc.
2. Prayer Walk: Walk to each of the rooms and around our property praying for the teachers, the children, the adults.
3. Flyer Distribution: Hanging flyers on the doors of the church neighborhood inviting them to VBS

SUNDAY WORSHIP
June 1 @ 10a
This week we begin a new series called If I Am In Christ where we will look at what does our lives look like if we are truly living a life where we are in Christ and He is in us. This Sunday we are going to look at what it means to be in Christ. God created and designed us to be recipients of a number of spiritual blessings. Sin and brokenness often get in the way of fully embracing all that is available to us in Christ. The key is being “in Christ.” If we are in Christ, we are chosen, adopted, redeemed, purposed, and sealed. That is the life God wants for us. In fact, it is what we are designed for.

VBS KICKOFF
June 1, 5:30-6:15p
Come and enjoy a snack supper and games as we begin our week of Vacation Bible School.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
June 1-5 @ 6:30-8:30
Magnified! VBS will encourage kids and adults to look closely at the details of God’s amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. God made us, cares about us, loves us, forgives us, and is faithful to keep all His promises to us. We can praise God together! We were made to magnify God!

MISSION TRIP
July 12-19
Things have changed a little and this will mainly be a work project trip (painting, landscaping, construction, etc.) with a community event on Wednesday night. You must have completed the sixth grade to go on this trip. The cost is $350, which will include everything except four road trip meals. The deadline to sign up is June 1st with a $100 deposit. Please see me if you have any questions or to sign up.
