SUNDAY WORSHIP
June 29 @ 10a
You’ve probably heard the phrase “a heart for worship” but do you have a heart for prayer? That’s what we’re going to focus on this Sunday, developing a H.E.A.R.T. for prayer. We will end our prayer service by participating in The Lord’s Supper. It’s going to be a great day in the house of the Lord!

BENEVOLENCE OFFERING
We will be collecting money for our Benevolence Fund this Sunday at the conclusion of the worship service. This fund is designed for church members in times of financial stress. Pray about how much God wants you to contribute.

PAINTING
June 27, 10a-3p
We had a great paint day last Friday, but we didn’t get finished. This Friday we are going to be painting the baseboards, doors and trim. We have all the supplies needed; we just need your time. Come and give an hour or two or all day (and hopefully, it will not take all day). Lunch will be provided.

GRASS CUTTING
Cutting the grass on our church property is one of those jobs that no one thinks about – until it’s not done. Daniel Williams does an amazing job keeping our grass areas trimmed and looking good. But Daniel is going to be away for two weeks and so we need some volunteers to cut the grass somewhere between July 3-5 and July 10-12. The primary focus will be to cut the large grass areas, but, if possible, it would be nice to trim and blow off the sidewalks. If you can help with any or all of this, please let me know so I can coordinate our efforts.

CONGRATULATIONS TO DEBBIE HENEGAR AND THE DAYCARE
Over the past 2 years Southeast Baptist Preschool has been completing the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) process. The NECPA assesses relationships between the child and teacher, program and center relationships with families, and program community relationships. It includes inspections, in-depth self-evaluations, the making and gathering of information to make 140 files to further support our commitment to excellence in early childhood education. There are over 240 licensed daycares in Rutherford County and according to NECPA’s website there are 6 daycares with NECPA accreditation in Rutherford County. We are the first church affiliated daycare to be accredited.
