The Beatitudes

In this week's message, we'll explore Jesus' powerful words in Luke 6, often called The Beatitudes. While the world measures success by wealth, comfort, popularity, and self-sufficiency, Jesus paints a completely different picture of what life in His kingdom looks like. Jesus reminds His disciples that true blessing isn't found in possessions, ease, or the approval of others. Instead, He calls His followers to a life marked by dependence on God, a hunger for righteousness, compassion for a broken world, and faithfulness even when it brings rejection. These teachings challenge our assumptions and invite us to examine where our hearts truly rest.
