Southeast believes in missions. Jesus commanded us to go into all the world to tell people about His love for them.
Through the years we have sent church members on mission trips to Africa, Canada, Costa Rica, South Dakota, New Orleans, St. Louis, Columbus, Washington D.C., Pass Christian, and Rose’s Creek. Our latest mission trip was to Manassas, VA where we led Vacation Bible School for community children in the mornings and then did work projects for a church that was just getting started in an old elementary school building.
We have started four churches in Rutherford and Bedford counties: Westwood, New Life, Laotian, Harvest View, and Living Water.
We support International and North American missionaries through annual offerings.
Locally, we partner with Greenhouse Ministries, the MTSU Baptist Student Union, Portico Pregnancy Center and conduct a worship service for the residents at The Rutherford Assisted Living. And we have at least two community events a year.
