Status

Many spend so much of their energy trying to get people they don’t even know to care about them. Social media fuels the fire of comparison, and we love to be thought highly of. So, many do things and post things in order to get likes and follows. Jesus warned His followers that we cannot chase after the world and be committed to Him. In the end, we live our lives for an audience of One. The goal is to please God and God alone. The Glitter of Status is not Gold.
