I think most Christian would say that they want to see the power of God. That they want to see God do something that only He can do. Unfortunately, most of us are not willing to do what it takes to see God’s power displayed in our lives. As the Israelite people headed into the long-awaited Promised Land, Joshua led them. The only thing standing in their way was the flooded Jordan River. Just like Moses’ faith allowed God to split the Red Sea, Joshua’s faith would once again allow God to do something only He could do. The only problem was that they would have to get their feet wet first. Only after the first steps of obedience would they see the miracle.
