Pray Asking

This Sunday is a fifth Sunday, so we are going to pause our study through the Gospel According to Luke and spend some focused time on prayer. This Sunday, we come to the point of which many of us spend most or all our time in prayer: Asking. We’re always asking God for something: to heal someone that is sick, to provide the money that we need, to protect us as we travel. And there is nothing wrong to pray for those things. But there are more levels to Asking in prayer than just presenting God with a list.
